SYNOPSIS DOCUMENTARY SERIES
Each chapter focuses on the exploration of a natural area of Colombia in the search of particularly endangered species. Along the way we will find other species previously studied, you will find enriching exploration and recording of biodiversity. Each chapter presents the difficulties of an expedition in the jungle, in the company of Indians, natives, farmers and/or expert researchers of the species in conflict. Finding the target is a real adventure: crossing rivers, climbing mountains, camping, etc. The narration is generated in the path experienced by a nature photographer from the dialogues held with his companions. To find and to register the wanted species or not to find generates a transformation and an individual/ group reflection over the state of conservation of the species, its habitat, and the importance to humankind. A documentary series which aims to be a tool for awareness on the conservation of biodiversity, captivating the viewer with the adventure, discovery, spontaneous dialogues, the beauty of these places and the photographic record of the animals and plants, under the premise that “only we can love what we know and we can only protect what we love”.
